Louise's Top End Adventure + Ghan Expedition October 2025

Our visit to the Top End showcased all the highlights of the north – Litchfield National Park, Kakadu, Darwin Military Museum, Darwin Aviation Museum, Museum & Art Gallery of the Northern Territory, Mindil Markets, a sunset Darwin Harbour Cruise and a visit to the Top End Safari Camp.

Then it was all aboard the Ghan for a three-night adventure through the heart of the country, stopping in Katherine for a Nitmiluk Gorge Cruise, exploring Alice Springs (including dinner under the stars at the Outback Telegraph Station) and heading underground in Coober Pedy.

Our last two days were spent exploring beautiful Adelaide, including the German village of Hahndorf and the beautiful heritage buildings of the CBD.
