Kim Rayner

I have a passion for photography, hiking, diverse landscapes, and remote locations.

I have been very fortunate to have explored many destinations; New Zealand, USA, Sabah (Borneo), Singapore, Vietnam, Vanuatu, Kenya, Tanzania, Dubai, Thailand, Cambodia, Fiji, Iceland, Faroe Islands, Norway, England, Hungary, Austria, Germany, Netherlands, France, & Italy.

Some of my favourite travel experiences include spending six months as an exchange student with an American host family in Connecticut, bush camping on the edge of the Ngorongoro Crater in Tanzania with elephants, zebra, & warthog roaming through the camp, walking atop ancient glaciers in Iceland, climbing Mt Kinabalu in Borneo – the highest mountain in South-East Asia, diving one of the largest intact accessible shipwrecks in the world - the SS President Coolidge in Vanuatu, and hiking through the world’s largest puffin colony on the rugged & remote island of Mykines in the Faroe Islands.

My yet to be explored bucket list destinations are many but top of the list are the wildlife & landscapes of Antarctica and Svalbard, however having recently returned from extended maternity leave these are some distance in my future!

I have been a Travel Consultant with Mudgee Travel & Cruise for just on 6 years and I am incredibly excited to be extending this role and sharing our hand-picked destinations with you.
