Like a lot of us travel agents, we find our perfect fit often when you have already progressed a bit of a way along the career path! For me it was 14 years ago when I took over Burnie Travel centre with no previous travel experience except a love of travel and the need to have a good option in a regional area. From there I took on 5 more staff, opened another store in Smithton (way northwest of Tas) and added another 3 travel passionate people to our staff. I think it was my mid-life crisis!!
